Patient Accounts, Insurance Collections – 3 full-time positions, Responsible for assisting with Accounts Receivables (A/R) management for multiple Care Centers. Monitors accounts with an insurance balance as part of the process of collecting balances or resolving claim rejection/denial problems with insurance companies. As part of the billing and collection process, this individual reviews and monitors various reports including but not limited to clearinghouse rejections, claims denial tasks, and A/R aging reports. Must be detail-oriented; medical billing experience is preferred.
Patient Accounts, Medical Biller – Full-time, Responsible for obtaining all paperwork and information necessary for compliant billing. Consults with other staff, customers, and insurance companies to secure and maintain correct insurance information in OTN’s Practice Management System. Also manages the sorting and filing of claim forms. Duties may also include running pre-claim charge reports and resolving identified issues, reviewing daily eligibility reports to preemptively obtain health insurance information for patients with scheduled appointments, resolving issues preventing the creation of claims, addressing eligibility rejections identified at the clearinghouse, providing requested documents to facilitate claim adjudication, and ensuring pre-authorization numbers are populated into the billing system.
Surgery Scheduler – Full-time, Schedule and pre-cert diagnostic procedures, confirms orders as they are received if questions, communicate with doctor or primary nurses. Send orders and pre-cert to facilities. Screen patients for diagnostic studies and share with primary nurses and doctors as well.
Pre-cert Coordinator – Full-time, Pre-cert surgery and diagnostic procedures, communicate authorization numbers with facilities, work with doctors as needed to set up peer to peer, getting dictation on time, communicate with patients, nurse and doctors about the status of the process.
Athletic Trainer – PRN, up to 3 positions, primary responsibility to provide ATC coverage with contracted sports outreach programs and events.
Physical Therapist – Full-time, North location, evaluate patients: create treatment plans. Supervise Assistant staff, work cooperatively with other on the care team. Customer service oriented. Ideal Team Players – humble, hungry and people-smart teammates
Physical Therapy Assistant – PRN, licensed PTA to work in past paced practice. Primary responsibility to include patient care, documentation, and assisting others on the team. Hungry, humble, and people-smart teammates.
Medical Assistant/Medical Specialist – Full-time, Oak Ridge location, Focus on Patient flow efficiencies, rooming patients, removing staples, obtaining complete medical history, assisting with DME products, anticipating clinic needs and patient needs. Medical Specialist (Medical Assistant) – Full-time, After-hours, 1pm to 9 pm, Certification required, must have EHR experience, NextGen preferred and orthopedics. Must be able to routinely walk and stand for extended periods of time.
OR Tech – Full-time, working with staff in the OR to turn over the rooms, move patients, assist staff in setting up for cases. Team player attitude and qualities important.
RN, Pre-op Holding Area– PRN RN for busy pre-op area, must be energetic and motivated. ACLS, PALS preferred. Pre-op in hospital or ambulatory surgery center desired, Strong IV skills are a MUST. 2 days per week required but more is likely to fill additional needs.
Surgical Tech – Full-time, 1 position working 3p – 11:30p, orthopedic experience helpful, team players, CST required
Sterile Processing Tech– PRN, reprocess and sterilize instruments for a variety of orthopedic cases, to include total joints. Experience required. Certification preferred.
