Dr. Edwin Spencer served as a program director for this year’s American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) meeting that took place October 16-19 in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Spencer was honored for his contribution to the event.
Around 700 surgeons attended from around the world to learn about current strategies and technology for diagnosing and treating complex shoulder and elbow disorders.
Dr. Spencer has contributed to the advancement of rotator cuff treatment and designed the first stemless shoulder arthroplasty. He is also a two-time recipient of the Neer Award, the most prestigious award in shoulder surgery and research.
