Marah Smith draws great satisfaction from helping patients understand how their body works, identifying the cause of their issues and working together to get them back to doing the activities they love. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Lincoln Memorial University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a member of Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Associates. A Knoxville native, she is fulfilling her dream to return to Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic after previously serving as a medical scribe to help the people in her community. In her free time, she is active in the Knoxville Greek Orthodox community.
