Beth Howington, OTR/L, CHT, is a dedicated occupational therapist with an extensive background in hand therapy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from University of Louisiana Monroe (formally Northeast Louisiana University) and went on to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), demonstrating her commitment to excellence in the field. Beth joined OrthoTennessee in 2005.
Her clinical areas of interest encompass a wide range of upper extremity injuries and conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, custom orthotic fabrication for the upper extremity, training in Graston Technique and kinesiology taping. Beth’s skills include managing shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries and rehabilitation. She has supervised and mentored numerous occupational therapy students from various schools across the Southeast region.
Beth’s passion for healthcare extends beyond her clinical work as she actively engages in church and volunteer activities where she finds fulfillment in helping others. Beth maintains a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoys working out, exploring new places through travel and immersing herself in the great outdoors.
Above all, Beth takes immense pride in her two children, Matthew and Courtney, who also are dedicated healthcare providers, carrying on the tradition of compassionate care in their family.
