Rachel Pelicano, PT, DPT, has a passion for helping others with post-concussion symptoms and dizziness as well as patients suffering from shoulder injuries or rehabilitating from shoulder surgery. She works with patients to achieve their personal goals and improve function and confidence in activities of daily living.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from East Tennessee State University. She is certified in both vestibular and concussion therapy by The American Institute of Balance (AIB) and certified in dry needling and Graston Technique. She joined OrthoTennessee in 2021.

Rachel also is passionate about advancing her education in the treatment of concussion and vestibular disorders as well as shoulder rehabilitation by attending advanced continuing education courses yearly on these topics, maintaining her AIB certification and assisting with OrthoTennessee continuing education courses. Rachel enjoys kayaking, strength and high-intensity training, traveling, side-by-side riding, hiking, long walks, cooking and spending time with family, friends and her two large dogs, Scout and Bear.
