Dr. Chelsea Stanford gets great satisfaction from seeing patients get back to their sport. She joined University Orthopaedic Surgeons in 2023 to focus on sports medicine. Dr. Stanford earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical services from Texas A&M University and Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch.
She completed her residency in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a fellowship in sports medicine at The University of Tennessee. She served as team doctor for the Knoxville Ice Bears professional hockey team during her fellowship as well.
